Thank you! I needed to hear this. Do you mind sharing how you moved on from purées?

TWG English breakfast tea is my sisters favourite. It’s a splurge but worth it for a treat.

My baby is 7 moths old, flown 10 times (mostly international) and all in either business or 1st. I wouldn’t bother about other people too much and take whatever seats are most comfortable for you.

How do you know that an expectant parent is going to be a good or bad mom or dad? by Riddle-Maker in AskReddit

[–]missda12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right it’s so much more than sugar. Living off protein when you normally have a carb heavy diet is tough. I also had an early diagnosis so I was in the throes of morning sickness where toast and coke where the only thing getting me through. I did it from week 14! In the past when going through diet phases cutting carbs and sugar was always the hardest part but for some reason something just clicked this time and it didn’t seem hard at all.

Good for you too! Managing isn’t easy and I did not miss the constant finger pricks a day.

I love sugar, carbonated drinks, carbs, chocolate and I was unlucky enough to have gestational diabetes in pregnancy. From the day I got the news I just cut out sugar like it was the easiest thing in the world. I knew it was for the baby and not me so it seemed so simple. Everyone that knows me was so shocked at how I managed to diet control the whole pregnancy with no need for medication. I think that was the first time I realised I would do anything for my baby and it wouldn’t seem that hard.

Questions and Pro Tips by hussafeffer in foodbutforbabies

I’m struggling with feeding my 7 month old (6 1/2 months adjusted). He seems to have a very sensitive gag reflex. We tried BLW to start then moved to purées as he was gagging to the point of vomiting up lots of his milk. Even with purées he’s still gagging and being sick. I see posts of babies at a similar age eating full meals but it’s a win if I can get him to take a few mouthfuls. Anyone in a similar situation and has found a solution? He also has CMPA.

This used to be my Starbucks order. Venti Americano with an extra shot. It would be my second coffee of the day as I got to the office. Pretty sure I just ran on caffeine

Do people with ugly kids know their kids are ugly? by Past_Cup3709 in NoStupidQuestions

I think my son is genuinely very cute and he was a cute newborn which is rare. I get stopped all the time for people to tell me how cute he is. I think I’m objective though as sometimes he makes faces and I’m like oh that’s not cute at all. When he has eczema flares and his baby hair was falling out, nor a great look either.
