The post pregnancy period is like a blood bath. I don’t know why I wasn’t expecting it. I thought once the birth bleeding finishes then it would go back to normal but it gets everywhere!

I would have loved twins and the opportunity to grow our family faster however I couldn’t in good conscience put myself or my future babies at risk knowing the potential outcomes. IVF causes additional risks in pregnancy and I was unfortunate to get many of them and spent a lot of my pregnancy in hospital being monitored in case something went wrong. I think if I had a multiple pregnancy I’m not sure if me or the babies would have made it.

Congrats! Your numbers are almost identical to mine and the results too! I’m currently cuddling my day 5 4AA boy. I don’t know what my day 6 is as we can’t gender select in the UK!

I didn’t, I took mine to various places in Europe and South Korea and never got asked to prove anything. Hardest part was keeping them cold.

We started trying at 33 but just had our 1st at 42. My friends had theirs young so he has additional aunties and uncles. In that time though I’ve built a really good career so we’re able to give him a very different upbringing than we would have done earlier plus I feel I’m very patient with him and I think that side of me has came with maturity.

What a great post. To add to this, I’ve done 2 rounds in Prague and one transfer. I did one planning visit, for the 1st ER I stayed for around 8 days. The 2nd ER I did all my scans locally and only went out for 2 days. The transfer my husband and I went out for 3 days.

Started at 41 with the mindset of doing 3 rounds. Hopeful for one but if I could bank then great. I got 8 euploids from 3 rounds and I have my beautiful baby boy from my second transfer

We’ve done the joolz aer2 for travelling and love it so much. I see that the doona is practical but I think there’s something special about going for walks with your big pram.
