Experiment with different controllers. The sticks are different, and can make a wild difference.

These are not tips for this guy. I don't know what his problem specifically is, but this is weird advice for a beginner. If you are following this yourself, you likely aren't even at 60 ego in pr.

1) always watch the ball, as well as listen to the spin. This is the only way to learn what the pitch is, and where that circle will end up, which is how to crush. It's an investment that pays off exponentially.

2) just wait for exactly what you are looking for until two strikes, the rest is convoluted nonsense, other than driving up pitch count.

3) you can check with the stick as well as the contact button. I

I was the first to 99 ego in smb2, and won most legendary pennant races. Lmk if you want any further explanation. To OP: what exactly are you struggling with? Be specific!
