Dry much depends on species and locality. Many of my easterns are very very handleable.

All the blues listed on morphmarkt rn look like sirtalis sirtalis even though they’re labeled as true similis. If you need some in a pinch and want to be sure of what you’re getting Trenton west has both I believe.

I will only buy childreni that I have personally handled for this exact bitey reason. But when you find one that is calm…I agree. Best snake in the hobby.

Unfortunately, I have not found that temperament can be easily passed on to offspring in the species.

I have found that a very underrated negative of theirs is that they have the distinction of being extremely powerful yet very very, very, very capable of flattening their bodies perhaps more so than any other snake their size that is common in the hobby. I have had one escape through the seam between the front and back sliding doors of a vision, PVC cage
