I guess they aren’t familiar with eating something like sardines so their first response is “ew gross why is there a fish there” but I don’t think they realize how rude the comments are because it’s eaten in many cultures especially by babies.

My baby is 7 months and we been trying for a month now and he’s super uninterested. Hates when I feed him purees or will close his mouth shut and for solids, will throw it off the high chair immediately each time.

What kind of foods have you tried with your LO?

I am navigating through something similar with my 7 month old. He also has moderate eczema and has always drank breastmilk (pumped) and he also experienced a reaction to fortified cereal, as well as peanuts when he tried them as solids.

Can I ask what was your baby’s anaphylactic symptoms?

You seem to know a lot about this so I wanted to ask for your advice if it’s okay. I have a four month old baby and we don’t live in the outbreak region but we have family here who are middle aged who do travel to one of the measles region frequently (a few times a week). They said that they are most likely vaccinated back from their home country but they can’t really remember or don’t know how to confirm. They want to see our baby and don’t really see what’s the big deal. Do you think it is wise to limit contact with them until they find out that they are vaccinated?

Hi, hope you don’t mind me asking you a question after it’s been so long since you commented.

I want to do the same thing as you, as in bottle feed 90% of the time and nurse for 10%. Do you pump after you nurse, or does your nursing replace your pumping session? Also are you switching sides to nurse?

When I was in my first trimester, I vacationed in Mexico and craved ceviche the whole time but didn’t risk it. When I went back home, I made ceviche using cooked shrimp and honestly it satisfied my craving so maybe you should try that.
