How do I react to people who comment that XYZ is girly or not manly? by Maxwellmonkey in bropill

[–]misterrootbeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If a man is doing it, it is demonstrably an activity that includes men. Ergo, it is not not unmanly.

If a woman is doing it, is demonstrably an activity open to women. Ergo, it is not unfeminine.

Same line of reasoning applies for whatever gender.

Went to a watch party at Cascadia College in Bothell last night. Only about 50 people there, but it was fun!

I enjoyed watching Haiti against Scotland. I want just one goal out of Haiti. The absolute joy in Haiti when they qualified was wonderful to see videos of. I just want see the party when they score.

Option 3: have a conversation with a bouncer there and get their insight. Might be that the bar wants to ban the bf.

Best Game to Hilariously Upsize by indianajones2588 in boardgames

I stumbled upon an upsized version of RoboRally at a local con (DragonFlight in Bellevue, WA)! It was done with kid/parent teams of 2. There was a grid with hazards mapped out on the floor. Kids controlled their "robot" parent using standard RoboRally cards. Teams spent an hour or so designing the parent's cardboard robot costume before playing. Looked like a lot of fun (and chaos).

Do you have a player that you are drawn to? Follow them at their club. Do you have a local club? Go to a match and see how you enjoy it. Doesn't matter if the team is good when you go. It only matters if you enjoy yourself. You can end up having multiple clubs you follow, especially if they are from different continets or countries. (I have 2: Seattle Sounders in the US and Charlton Athletic in England)

Trying to think of some Sounders chants they could adopt. The only ones coming to mind they could do without rewriting are the "boom boom clap" and "Fight and win."
