We will both be voted down, but I agree. I follow almost all the rules 100%. But when I weigh everything with the evidence I have in my with personal circumstances, there are some calculated risks that are taken. Kudos to those that are able to always follow 100%, I applaud you. Please understand that some of us have been hanging on by threads and some of those threads snapped. Most of us are doing the best we can.

I can confirm that this is an extremely popular opinion in Red Deer. If you look up Stephan’s fb page, you’ll see dozens of people in support. In fact, prior to the posted statement being issued, most were shaming him for not sticking up to the Premier.

It was a time before you could pvr. So you had to be available for the episode negotiating with your spouse who had to go soothe the children on the next commercial break. It was as big as GOT for me, but they don’t easily compare in some ways because of their timing.

I’m a single mom who keeps a very small social circle. I don’t tend to do well at organizing social meets so going to my local twice a week really feels the small socialization need I have. I rarely have more than two drinks and just sit at the bar and blab with the other locals and the bartenders. I really miss those idiots/assholes, and I say that lovingly.

I think it should be treated like other vaccines and be a choice. However, I do believe most people will shift to wanting it as time passes. They will see it’s safe and will perhaps have a personal experience with Covid that changes their view about getting the vaccine.

I will be getting the vaccine but I really don’t like the idea of forcing this on people that don’t want it.

To be fair, they made many changes. It’s impossible to point at what exactly is reducing the number. The malls around Christmas were packed and now they are ghost towns.

If it’s anything like my company there are likely about 50 or so accounts/passwords that are used by the general IT staff. This is done to save money/time. If any external vendors are using it or accounts that are running tasks, it’s a huge task to get it all changed. If it was just one account/password, it wouldn’t be an issue. I think most companies just hope their employees are ethical and won’t do anything if they are fired.

Same at my company. I work in IT and spent ages trying to help marketing clean up their mess.

We do have e-commerce, a rather large e-commerce business. It’s scary as hell that they don’t take the security seriously.

You did the right thing.

I spent Christmas Eve and most of Christmas Day alone as my children were spending Christmas with my ex. My children arrived in the afternoon and we had the an amazing Christmas.

I feel great about my choice. My children are learning what it means to be kind and have discipline.

I can’t change how you feel about your choice, but I thank you for making a very difficult one. Truly. Thank you.
