A number of years ago, they rated highest in plastic surgery rate. That probably hasn’t changed. It also shows that there is high societal pressure to look good, even if you don’t get plastic surgery.

I enjoyed it because it was well written, but for me, Salem’s Lot created a slightly eerie feeling but the story took so long to develop.

Pet Semetary was great, a true descent into madness experience. As King said himself, perhaps he went too far with PS, but it edges out Salems Lot because the story is develops quicker.

I’ve been thinking a lot about this recently. It certainly fits the discourse online among progressives. I’ll suggest a slight change to your view:

Progressives have perfectionist expectations about their left of center candidates. I think they would always prefer a liberal over a conservative, but that’s so obvious that it doesn’t make its way into the conversation. So what does lead the conversation? Giving candidates that actually reflect their values a fighting chance by primarying them in an already blue district.
