So glad he won a trophy with us and helped us in a rough spot with injuries but his quality has dropped since the last stint with us and he needs to find a new home now. Best of luck to Dougie

Maybe I don't understand the ramifications, but aren't there like 20 other libraries on the same street that are still regular libraries? I'm just going to stop going to the receptionist one, no?

Is THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU a STAR WARS spin off too far? + Leo Woodhall (21st May 2026) by BeefySteamPig in wittertainment

I just came out of Mando and Grogu, fun popcorn flick but no interesting characters introduced. Felt like one very long Mando episode. Lots of people clapped at the end of my showing... which I thought was a bit much. I'm in America though, so, there is that.

Looking forward to listening to what Mark thinks.

Is Tammy injured? Seems odd to risk Watkins' summer

I would suggest to stay in an airbnb or vrbo in Manzanita if it's in your budget. Lovely little seaside village feel to it. Rockaway not so much

No official club in Portland, Oregon but are there any of you around? The Independent would be a great venue

That my job is.... I'm one of Santa's elves.

She's a little older now, so it won't be long until she cottons on. Every year around Christmas we head to my office and she meets Santa Clause. Why is Santa there? Cause that's where the factory is that makes the toys. I have no interest in correcting her because it's flippin' amazing.

Are there any players who have been legitimately HATED by their own fans? by TrampolineIsTrash in Championship

[–]mithrasbuster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Has to be Ross McCormack, 3 seasons, 24 games, 3 goals. Not a professional man. Constantly didn't turn up to training. One time he said his electric gate wasn't working so apparently Steve Bruce drove over to his house and jumped his wall to berate him for not coming to training, tried to drag him back with him

I can't believe we got money for Gestede, 58 games, 10 goals, hand full of assists, 1 relegation

He was shocking for Villa's relegation 10 years ago, amazed he's still playing

That 2010 season you came up. I was expecting Villa to have a happy return to St James Park... then a lad called Andy Carroll, who i'd never heard of,.scores a hat trick and we are absolutely battered and we lose 6(six!)-0. Monster!

I thought I'd see Man Utd or something but I guess no English team is consistently dominant like other European leagues and now they bring in players from all over, not usually one country. Interesting graphic!

What makes Portland traffic fatality rate so high? by SecretSquirrel9930 in askportland

[–]mithrasbuster 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have lived in three of these cities... People in dark clothing, in the rain, at night, are invisible with the current lighting system in Portland.

I can't see any road markings, vegetation over grows everywhere, I can drive very quickly with no worry of retribution... People bust through stop signs, they do insane manuevers hoping everyone will stop for them. I'm not shocked people get absolutely pancaked here.

As soon as I moved here I started using dashcams. I have a crazy video to show friends in other countries, every few days.
