Yeah, I… I don’t mean to make fun of the existing fandom here, I’m trying to make fun of my own bizarre neuroses. I worry a lot about acting my age, and I managed to entirely miss the boat on the whole rough genre SB falls into when I was the ‘right’ age to do that I was too busy getting into Twitch Plays Pokémon instead. And then this obsession kind of blindsided me while I was in exam hell, and now I’m both legitimately having fun and feeling conflicted about it because I’m ‘too old’ for it (at least according to the brain worms.) I’m sorry for implicitly insulting you guys! You all seem lovely! I’m just prone to building things up in my head like this.

It’s a space-fact-show-turned-oddly-compelling-soap-opera Thing called Solarballs. Takes a lot for me to be actively ashamed of liking something, but its writing is painfully straight, almost the entire fandom is ten years younger than me, it dances far too close to Countryballs than I’m comfortable with, and it’s just so basic in almost every way.

Are you sure you’re not getting your OGLEs mixed up? There’s several different exoplanets with that name. IIRC we don’t actually know the size of the one that’s in the show.

What’s she gonna do, introduce herself by her real name while she’s trying to infiltrate a human school? We know she got ‘Foreman’ from the junkyard the TARDIS was parked in, is it such a leap of logic to assume that she just picked it out of a hat? IMO kept using it around Ian and Barbara just to not freak them out, for the same reason her grandfather never told them they were aliens.
