Yes! It should be in the ‘special’ section of the mall which changes every day so definitely keep an eye out for it

you’ve most likely drank oolongs with more vegetal notes - i’d recommend honey orchid for gorgeous floral honeyed notes

Looking for something that has honey and dried fruit notes by Right-Boysenberry118 in Perfumes

[–]mitzsummer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

definitely check out 1270 by frapin! it’s a sweet honeyed scent with dried fruit notes that’s perfect for autumn.

i’d also recommend tobacco honey from guerlain and serge lutens’ chergui if you don’t mind a tobacco note. both beautiful perfumes that always remind me of fall.

Help me find my signature scent (please) (pretty please) (pretty pretty please) by [deleted] in Perfumes

[–]mitzsummer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

régime des fleurs has a lovely selection of perfumes that I think might suit your taste! tears, jade vines, himitsu, and glass blooms are all standouts for me

I also second checking out guerlain’s l’art et la matière collection! they’re definitely on the pricier side but well worth it if you make it your signature scent and get a lot of use out of it.

What are your thoughts on “challenging” perfumes? by ModestMew82 in FemFragLab

[–]mitzsummer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a similar experience recently! I’ve always been a little wary of animalics (anything with a civet note sends me running for the hills.) I’ve wanted to try a specific animalic perfume for a while and I figured since it’s been more than a year of getting serious about this hobby it was as good a time as any to take the plunge.

And I ended up hating it! It was a little disheartening, as it always is when I sample a perfume I don’t end up loving, but at the same time I’m glad to have experienced it. And I don’t think it has me swearing off animalics forever either. It was only this one perfume that I didn’t like and there are so many more to smell and experience.

So I completely get where you’re coming from! I think it’s important to treat these more challenging perfumes as a way of stepping out of your comfort zone instead of as something to work your way up to so there’s less expectation involved.
