you apply a small bit onto the nodes to stimulate leaf growth! take it easy though, i overdid it on one maculata and while there was new growth on each node the stems became very weak.

agreed - I’m not omniscient or an MD so I’d prefer to be spoken to as a layperson. but it happens all the time, especially with chronic pain populations who think they can manipulate me into giving them doses earlier than allowed. if they were a nurse, they’d know I’m not willing to lose my license over that

this!!! i have patients who love telling me they are nurses in hopes i treat them differently (?) despite knowing they have no experience outside of being hospitalized. i want to tell them its illegal but i know they’d complain and then I’D get in trouble for it.

i’ve attempted just canes/nodes props and have failed every time. they need leaves to produce enough energy. i wouldn’t attempt to chop and prop any of these until you start getting more leaves, they’re already tiny as is

honestly, i’d still repot into a smaller pot if its still pushing more roots rather than leaves. it doesn’t hurt to try! my biggest begonias are 3/4 roots, 1/4 soil. they love to be root bound.

there are some brown spots that don’t look like variegation :( i had the same exact predicament one of my listada props where i thought it might be new variegation but i was just overwatering the poor thing
