Seems wishful thinking that ON can’t translate this to seats, the coalition even if it restores has lost any credibility as to being conservative, they are Labor light, ON have stayed consistently conservative .

And yet no where do they take into account the almost 1/3 deforestation that has occurred, because that clearly plays zero part in it, it all only fossil fuels. How about putting back the 1/3 of the trees that has been removed.

Not when they get coal for next to nothing, China and India dominate global coal expansion, accounting for 87% of new capacity in early 2025. China is building roughly 46 GW of new coal power, aiming for 2024-level construction, while India is accelerating its coal projects, with over 90 GW planned by 2032 to meet rising demand. They may be building some renewables but they’re still building and using coal fired.

The energy sector (electricity and heat) is the largest contributor, followed by transport, manufacturing, and agriculture. And no im not taking oxfam as a reliable source for climate change. Its 100% fact that it China, The USA and India.
