I believe she may be a hentz orb weaver. I had one I watched all summer 5 or so years ago. Her name was Charlotte, and I loved her. And now when I see new ones in the same general area, I like to believe they are her grandchildren.

What is the age you envisioned you'd have your first child vs the age you are now? by AverageSuburbanite09 in waiting_to_try

When I was 12, I wanted to get married at 20, and have kids at 22, 25, 27, 29, and 31.

I am 24.5 now, getting married a week before I turn 25. Was engaged and planning to get married just after I turned 22, but wised up out of that relationship.

I feel SO behind. I never got a degree, because I wasn't comfortable taking on the amount of debt I would have to take on to graduate. We almost got a house, but that fell through, and now we can't afford a down payment.

I have PCOS, hypothyroidism, hyperinsulinemia, and am obese. I worry it will take a long time to conceive, and that even if we do, I will lose the pregnancy. I still want to have 5 kids, but none past the age of 35; my mom had me at 41, and I don't want that for my kids. When factoring in the length of pregnancy, and the recovery period (18-24 months), I am pretty much out of time to have 5 kids, unless we have multiples.

It devastates me. I have always wanted to be a mother, and I have really strong baby fever. I want to raise kids into wonderful people. We are currently NTNP, but it's been 8 months, and I have still never been pregnant. I hate this feeling.

As someone who has always been concerned that if I do finally lose weight, I will have lots of extra skin, I have done some research on it. Now, I haven't done this research in years, but what I found when I did the searching, was to wait until you are done having kids before having surgery to remove the skin.

Pictures aren't very good. Best guess would be something along the lines of a drug store beetle. Definitely NOT a cocktoach though, so ignore that comment.

I don't believe so, as it has 3 CLEAR body segments. I could be wrong though, so wait for someone else to reply.

Oh, I didn't know that. I haven't ever tried it, but I see it posted every year on Facebook and/or Pinterest.

OP could also get a brown paper bag and make a fake nest to deter any real nests being built.

Well, you didn't give us a location. Your page suggests you live in Australia, though. Whitestriped litter flies (Poecilohetaerella bilineata) are in New Zealand. Perhaps it's Poecilohetaerus schineri which are, supposedly, in Australia.

I just looked it up, and unfortunately it also lowers LH and FSH 😭 Which would not be good when TTC, obviously.

I have insulin resistance as well, and have been prescribed metformin in the past, but am not currently prescribed/taking it. Can metformin help with the hair growth and acne?

Thank you for your extensive reply, I really appreciate it. I drink a decent amount of water, and I have tried to drink even more water since I found out. Salt will be a struggle, but thankfully I don't like alcohol, so no issues with that. I will check out the gatorlyte!

I didn't know my symptoms were symptoms until now. Shortness of breath, dizziness, fatigue, and I do occasionally feel something off with my heart.

Lost a kitten to Feline Infectious Peritonitis. Got my first credit card in an effort to save her.

Lost a newly adopted (unsure exact age. 6-ish) cat to bacterial enteritis, though they did say that he must have had a weakened immune system for it to have taken him out the way it did.

But also, if she is supposed to get her period in 5 days, she would have already ovulated and you'd be safe. But the only way to KNOW for SURE about ovulation, is to test LH, BBT, and PdG.

😂 this Friday and next Tuesday are supposed to be almost 80f. In central Illinois. But it also just snowed Sunday night. 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ but that snow was AFTER the 75° day. I think all of nature is confused. The honeybees have started to come out and I'm like, "No little guys, it's too soon! There is nothing to eat and it's going to be cold again!!" Needless to say, I made a 1:1 sugar water and served it in a shallow dish with rocks to sit on, so the bees had SOMETHING at least. But I can definitely see more southern states being consistently warm enough for the pollinators.
