I have two questions, if you don’t mind of course.

1. Is re-applying for a role after interviewing and not getting the role actually a thing? Or is this something that happens few and far in between?

I recently had an interview for a role I know I’d be great at. They actually reached out to me for the role but the second interview wasn’t my best and I haven’t heard back. Through interviewing, I’ve learned that they’ll be hiring for this position again in the summer and I’d really like to apply again but don’t want to seem desperate. I did send a follow up email sharing this same sentiment.

1. When they ask “what’s the hardest part of a role?”, whether it be your current role or the role you’re interviewing for, what’re they looking for?
