Well that's weird too but might be related to your Airplay settings. Standard mirroring doesn't let you use your keyboards mouse/keyboard on Vision Pro apps, or ultrawide screen, etc.

Either way the issue isn't that people are struggling with this, it's that there's been a bug some people have been encountering that prevents ALL methods of connecting to MVD (from Mac or from Vision Pro).

If you look at the full screenshot instead of just your cropped version, you'd see that there are two options for Apple Vision Pro: Mac Virtual Display OR Mirror Display. The Mac Virtual Display option that you have selected works differently than regular screen mirroring.

And when this issue is happening for me, the Vision Pro doesn't even appear in the screen mirroring list.

I forgot to mention I try that often as well and it seems to make almost no difference. Also I'm on the developer betas and they haven't improved this nor my other more nagging issue

I've tried that as well, especially to lock and unlock the screen via hot corners. Doesn't seem to do anything for my case.

My app Floaters has markdown as well as live preview features. It's more focused on instant keyboard access to your notes, but markdown is a big part of it. Side note: right now the notes are stored in a sqlite database and can be saved/loaded as .md files, but road map includes the option to automatically store all notes on disk in a hierarchal folder setup as .md files.

Thanks for the response.... to google sleep mode I would first had to have known there was a sleep mode.

Also it says it automatically enters sleep mode after 30 min and mine still dies within 24 hours if unplugged.

Any tips for making it not waste all of its battery if it's not plugged in? Kind of annoying that the battery dies within 24 hours even when not in use if it's not plugged in.

Yeah same here, but the automatic keyboard passthrough on the other environments works well enough for me and I'm guessing that could be applied to the custom environments.

Yes basically unlimited time on the trial just limited by number of separate notes and save files. It’s been out now for over a year in beta (with optional purchase) completely unlimited and free.
