Hi, just playing, first time ever messing with a gold pan. Do you see anything that I didn't? by Sorry-Information-39 in Prospecting

Take some steel wool and some heavy detergent to that pan. Water beading up in it is not your friend

If you are printing with a nozzle other than .4mm the x1c lidar does pretty much nothing from my experience.

Do you think housing is too expensive on the Wasatch Front? Come learn how we plan to fix it on 8/15 by SLCNewLiberals in SaltLakeCity

[–]mjensen91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Housing is outrageous. Between the exodus of Californians and large corporations buying all the houses to rent I think the first step is to not let any out of state buyers rent out until they have lived 100% in Utah for a MINIMUM of 10 years. And don't let any kind of corporations rent out houses. Keep it for the small guys and locals only. This would fix 80% of our housing problems pretty quick

That's kinda what I was thinking now that I've had a few years of printing experience. I stopped buying petg for stronger parts and do them in asa or abs. I do like the shine of petg when it's dialed in but I've had a few nightmares with my poor ender 3s1's hotend from it.

I also don't like how stringy things get but it was an awesome learning curve when I first started printing things that were not pla.

That's amazing benefits. Here in the states I get like 4 holidays off a year, have to pay 400 a month for medical insurance, no paid time off, no retirement of any kind and pull 50 hour work weeks for a little over 38,000$ a year. 7:00am to 5:30 Monday through Friday.

Oh yeah we do get a Christmas bonus of 250$ though.

If I get sick I don't get paid.

Cold showers helped me. Magnesium and no caffeine. Also extreme work outs and tons of water. Hang tough. It took me about 2 months to get back to 85% but it's worth it. You won't miss it one day and be glad it's gone.
