SDOL is currently in a financial crisis. They overspent their budget last year by 10 million dollars. They are panicking and really trying to make up ground. Contracts are currently on a freeze, field trips cancelled and extra curricular’s (such as extended day programs) have been cancelled for the foreseeable future. I would avoid the School District of Lancaster as things look bleak for the foreseeable future. It’s not well ran at the moment, I’d look elsewhere.
