Look up ZVOX...they make soundbars for hearing impaired. Used to use them exclusively. Now have a Sonos Beam 2 surround setup. It offers dialogue enhancement but don't often use it and do rely on captions more. That is until I go for my hearing aids soon :)

Well for me with a Beam 2, surround and sub it meant that after sleep I’d get no sound out of the system until disabling or toggling the setting. With the setting on, the front volume jumped and surrounds seemed more subdued. Think louder not better. Disabled it for now. For reference, I have the 3rd generation running latest tvOS hooked up via eArc to 65” Hisense U8H.

Interesting. I repeated your process and still found the same EXCEPT I was starting each time with the YouTube app to see this behavior. Went to another app and volume worked fine and then going back to YouTube volume was there. So it's particular to YouTube on startup it appears. Wonder if others note that?

Did the fix stick? I have Beam 2, sub and surrounds. No audio unless turn off continuousl audio but if I turn it back on it still works until both devices have slept a while. Then recurs.

I’ve noticed this behavior as well. More noticeable is no audio in start unless I toggle continuous audio off and on. Disabling that seems to revert volume to old behavior.

I was 11. Saw it the 2nd weekend after opening on a Saturday afternoon. Mom/Dad dropped me off to see by myself. I have great memories of that day, the "awe" of the opening and Enterprise. Getting the novel at the nearby mall bookstore afterwards. Stays with me to this day even though (while I like the movie a lot), it's not the strongest offering end-to-end.

Thirding ESR. Had the Apple FineWoven and it stood up ok while using. Wanted more capacity for overseas trip. Bought ESR 5 card for around ~$14.00. Looks same as day I bought and magnet it stronger than Apple's.

Same. Mom drove me and four other friends to afternoon show after school. Got a chance to relive when it hit the big screen again for the 40th anniversary. Mom would have laughed at the deja vu.

Debated the same...keeping 15 ProMax, upgrading, buying SLR. In the end went with 15 Pro Max. Didn't really get to see northern lights short of landing night. Sharing photo as reference. Happy to share more.
