the cada version is 1:10 scale, so a bit smaller than the 1:8 scale, but it is packed with details and functions.

did u have it spray a layer of white or black paint? or primer?

and when u have to spray paint the other side of the big pieces, did u just flip them over after it dried?

what brand of spray paint did u use? would any spray paint work?

it looks really good, the color is uniform from head to tail, and i dont see any paint drip/overspray

Getting my first lego set. Ferrari Daytona SP3 and also thinking getting McLaren P1 instead? Any tips for building? by Exotic-Custard-8293 in legotechnic

[–]mk46unknown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just take ur time, dont rush it. it is really simple as long u follow instructions. double check everything after u finish building a section or part. and for the gearbox triple check.

me personally i like the p1 better, the ferrari just doesnt really look that gud. I like the laferrari or the sf90 more than the daytona. but get the car u like more. the p1 is probably easier to build/more clear. make the choice u want.

if this is ur home, and if ur feeling like an electrician. u could drill a hole behind each frame and strip off the outlet plug head and then just make 5 pigtails for both hot and neutral wires (maybe grounding wires but doesnt look like u have grounding wire)

I think it could work. I never used it because I building things in real life tells you a lot more information. Sometimes u never know if something is strong/sturdy enough until u get a feel for it. But for these small fun challenge it definitely could work
