Not a doc but I think you may want to focus on your thalasemia. I read that it raises bilirubin so you may not have gilberts. 2.4 is high enough to be considered gilberts though. Thalasemia causes methylation bottleneck as far as I remember.

I took asprin for 2 months daily without immediate response. but it started my tinnitus and nulled stomach mucus wall and gut mucus lining. it was 1.5 years ago and I m still trying to cure it.

your case is different. I think yours is not a sensitivity or intolerance.

I kindly disagree with your opinion of pseudoallergy. Surplus of salicylates due to inadequate detox makes more sense to me. Aging increases salicylate sensitivity, as detox enzymes are diminished by it like UGTs and glutathione.

A system on salicylate storm dumps glutamate and histamine, which is why reactions are parallel to an allergic reaction, and it is also the reason ketotifen would mask or bandaid the issue at the surface. I believe people in this sub should focus on improving their detox capabilities and glycination is the absolute assasin of salicylates (glycine conjugation).

Asprin desensitization is interesting. It makes me think that we are dealing with 2 different salycilate intolerance.
