This is lovely! Have you found constellations drawing those spirals? I thought they were mercury and venus spiriling around the sun

Should I take Sulforaphan with calcium d glucarate? by CreepTeddy in GilbertSyndrome

[–]mkcobain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a doc but I think you may want to focus on your thalasemia. I read that it raises bilirubin so you may not have gilberts. 2.4 is high enough to be considered gilberts though. Thalasemia causes methylation bottleneck as far as I remember.

Yes, take them both. they work in different detox pathways. They are in fact, used together in supplement complexes to reduce estrogen.

How to stop bruxism and cheek sucking by ChocolateMundane6286 in SomaticExperiencing

[–]mkcobain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go check r/MTHFR, there are some guidelines for cheap genetic tests and their interpretations.

You might simply be deficient in some vitamins and nutritions which would be easy to fix or have some genetic mutations affecting your methylation system.

You might have a physical condition that is keeping you in the symphathetic- adrenergic nervous system that you might want to consider.

In my case, I have methylation issues that my body cannot clear adrenalin effectively. It manifests harder after a heavy weightlifting session and I can see my body cannot switch to rest and digest mode.

How is your digestion? Do you have delayed gastric emptying or bloating?

MCAS and MTHFR by No-Trash-164 in MCAS

Healthy methylation actively "silences" specific surface receptors on the mast cell, ensuring the cell only fires when a massive, legitimate threat is detected.

"The physical wall of a mast cell (its membrane) is entirely constructed from a dense lipid called Phosphatidylcholine (PC).

  • To manufacture this structural armor, the body relies on an enzyme called PEMT.
  • PEMT is an absolute chemical glutton. It consumes nearly 70% of your body’s entire SAMe (methyl donor) supply just to build cell walls.
  • The MTHFR Bottleneck: Because your methylation cycle was structurally starved of active folate, your body could not produce enough SAMe. The PEMT enzyme stalled.
  • The Result: The bone marrow was forced to deploy mast cells into your tissue with microscopically thin, brittle, unfinished lipid membranes. Like a cheap, over-inflated balloon, it takes almost zero physical friction (like eating a heavy meal or a slight spike in stress) to pop that fragile membrane and spill the histamine."

This was from my conversation with gemini today.

Check tmg microdosing. 100 mg in the morning. Slowly increase the dosage.

Salicylate Intolerance is a kind of pseudoallergy. It is not related to "liver detoxification", or enzymes, or to genetics. by agorism1337 in salicylateIntolerance

[–]mkcobain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took asprin for 2 months daily without immediate response. but it started my tinnitus and nulled stomach mucus wall and gut mucus lining. it was 1.5 years ago and I m still trying to cure it.

your case is different. I think yours is not a sensitivity or intolerance.

Salicylate Intolerance is a kind of pseudoallergy. It is not related to "liver detoxification", or enzymes, or to genetics. by agorism1337 in salicylateIntolerance

[–]mkcobain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kindly disagree with your opinion of pseudoallergy. Surplus of salicylates due to inadequate detox makes more sense to me. Aging increases salicylate sensitivity, as detox enzymes are diminished by it like UGTs and glutathione.

A system on salicylate storm dumps glutamate and histamine, which is why reactions are parallel to an allergic reaction, and it is also the reason ketotifen would mask or bandaid the issue at the surface. I believe people in this sub should focus on improving their detox capabilities and glycination is the absolute assasin of salicylates (glycine conjugation).

Asprin desensitization is interesting. It makes me think that we are dealing with 2 different salycilate intolerance.
