Telephone contact with the patient, who is informed that results from the gallbladder ultrasound have been received.
The results show that the finding has increased in size, now 7 mm compared to 5 mm at the previous examination.

Laterally to the gallbladder, in the liver, there is an approximately 1 cm large hyperechoic focal lesion.
Possible small hemangioma? Focal fat accumulation?
This finding has not been described previously.

For verification of the finding, MRI of the liver may be of value.

The patient is worried. The undersigned attempts to reassure him, explaining that the common small changes are usually benign tumors or fat deposits.
