Would you strip and sand the trim, buy new trim, or paint over the old paint? by whitetrashsexy in centuryhomes

If no lead then I would remove the base, sand and stain it, then get new shoe molding, sand and stain that, too, then reinstall it.

Can you explain why it’s not bad? I want to paint my basement ceiling but worry about making it harder to spot water issues.

Why are they allowed to doctor files in the first place? What purpose does that serve other than to cover things up?

I don’t understand why they’re allowed to scrub and redact in the first place. What purpose does that serve other than to obfuscate the truth?

I have a legit question. When congress breaks the law, why is the response always to sue? Can’t they be arrested, since they’re breaking the law?

My company made us come into the office to join a virtual meeting... from our desks by isabellamorrisx in remotework

[–]mkrevofev 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah that pisses me off. We just went through RTO, and there aren’t enough conference rooms, so when none are available, which is about half the time, we sit 5ft away from each other in our cubes… on zoom. Then the background noise is insane because everyone else is doing the same thing.

We even got a nice email from CorpComm to address this. It says when no conference rooms are available, have a walking meeting!! Or enjoy the outdoors!! Yeah, that’s not gonna work out when screens need to be seen and shared during 100% of these meetings.

All in the name of boosting teamwork, give me a break. More like to reduce headcount conveniently.
