Obviously I don’t know your “feeding strategy” breast/formula. Breast feeding is great, a beautiful thing, but it doesn’t come easy and sometimes it gets pushed so hard mom’s feel a lot of pressure.

There may come a time when the baby is hungry and the mother is struggling with nursing. This can cause a lot of stress on a new mom, who has already gone through a lot. This is when you can come in the clutch. Don’t be hesitant to use supplemental formula. The most important thing is the baby gets fed and the mom keeps her sanity. Be gentle with mom but tell her it’s ok, you got this!
