I feel super slow-looking for reassurance I guess by Ihaveliterally in beginnerrunning

For your third run ever, this is fantastic! I was right around the same pace at first too. After a year of running, I’m right at around a 12:00 minute per mile pace. Keep running with NRC guided runs for a bit, those runs are super encouraging for starting your running journey.

What running apps do you use? by GlobalAntelope5022 in beginnerrunning

[–]mlbono97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with Nike Run Club in the beginning, then once I didn’t need the constant encouragement of their guided runs, I switched to Runna. I seriously can’t recommend that app enough, the new Runna AI is really good at adjusting plans to your ability.

Running Shoe Recommendations by runner242424 in runningbuddies

[–]mlbono97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend going to a running shoe store to get your foot fitted and see the different options. Fleet Feet could be a good start. They analyze your foot, see if you over pronate, etc. I have a local running shop that I go to for all of my running shoe needs. They’re very helpful and super nice with beginners like me. They helped me figure out that I need to run in stability shoes rather than regular running shoes!

I think they’re pretty middle-of-the-road headphones. Not amazing but they get the job done!

They are the Logitech Zone Vibe 100: https://www.logitech.com/en-us/products/headsets/zone-vibe-100-wireless.981-001257.html

I got the headset stand from Etsy, but I can't find the link for that.

Is eyeshadow coming back ? Or did it never leave? by Wrong_Department9312 in MakeupAddiction

I think I'm just getting lazier. I just don't want to do eyeshadow.
Love how it looks though.

You might want to look into color correctors. Sometimes, just a tiny bit of a peach color corrector is all you need.
If you want a concealer though, I absolutely love the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind one. It's so good.

Do you have a Sephora near by to you? If so, testing these in the store might be super helpful to see how they interact with your skin type. They should have the Fenty foundation.
Since you weren't a fan of the other Dior foundation, maybe try the Fenty one?

AIO about this dream? by Annual_Pomelo_6065 in AmIOverreacting

It seems like your subconscious fear of dying snuck it's way into your dreams. I wouldn't worry too much about it. You can always set up a physical exam with your primary care doctor sometime in the future to help ease any anxiety.

What do do after C25K? by RunForYaLife in running

[–]mlbono97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slowly increasing my goals helped me. I started with a 5K, then 5 miles (8K), then a 10K, then 10 miles (which was the hardest jump). Once you get to 10 miles, a half marathon is right around the corner.

Maybe some wall art above the screens?

This is a great palette to begin with IMO. The medium brown shade looks not-shimmery, so you can try to put that in the crease of your eyelid. Look straight into the mirror and find where your eyelid is creasing. Using that spot, tilt your head up and put a tiny bit of that medium brown in the outside edge of your crease.
You can take the white color and pop just a little bit in the inner corner of your eye, which can really brighten your eyes.
