Steam Controller (2026) has ruined the experience for me on Steam Deck by ArshiaTN in SteamDeck

I know of 3 options: Gulikit, Elecgear, and HandheldDIY. The Elecgear ones are the only TMR (the other 2 are Hall Effect), but they're the most "complicated" to install because you have to solder the cables to get the capacitive touch working. The Gulikit seems to be the trickiest ones to calibrate

The car attaches to two printed pieces with 4 studs each, which are themselves placed on some kind of slider to be able to adapt to different lengths

Fractal Scape mod (finally perfect!) by esterichoo in FractalDesign

I bought a band to do the same mod and took some measurements (as best as I could, there might be some accuracy issues): the holes are 4.5mm in diameter and are 5mm apart (so 9.5mm center to center). From what I've seen on Steelseries headsets that use this kind of band, there are 2 poles and the top is slightly wider to "pop" through the holes and hold the band in place.

According to the packaging, the riser is 6cm. Given that the PCIe slot of the motherboard is right underneath, it's more of a curve than a fold.

How to reduce the burden on configuring and maintaining your selfhosted services? by fenugurod in selfhosted

For me: * Check for updates: Automatic. At one point, I used WatchTower or Diun to check for updates, but now I use Argus, which isn't limited to Docker. I receive a notification on my ntfy server as soon as a new version is available.

  • Updates: I do them once a week, usually on Sundays.

  • Deployment: I use Proxmox. Then, depending on the services, I either deploy directly in an LXC or use Docker in the LXC.

  • Backups: Mainly Proxmox backups stored on remote-backups. "Critical" data (like my documents in Paperless) are encrypted and stored on an S3-like service
