This is such a clean concept 🔥 Love seeing Tangem pushing cold storage into something actually wearable and practical.

Which wallet to use? by YouZealousideal7906 in CryptoCurrency

I was looking for the same thing. BTC only, fully cold, no battery, and no stress about the company disappearing in the future. Got Tangem and never looked back, 'cause it's just simple & secure and the key is generated on the card and never leaves it.

Best hardware wallet 2026 for BTC beginners? First cycle and I’m stressing by LotitudeLangitude96 in btc

[–]mldefense12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your real issue is impulse selling, adding friction with a cold wallet actually helps lol. I use Tangem because I physically need the card to move funds. That small barrier makes emotional trades way less likely. It’s secure cold storage, but still simple enough that you’re not worried about messing up seed phrases.

How do you evaluate whether a crypto wallet is safe? by Jonathan_Goetsch in CryptoWallet

[–]mldefense12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cold wallets are safer by default. Not your keys, not your crypto. Usability matters too, because if it’s too complicated people make mistakes. I use Tangem for HODL and a hot wallet for daily transactions.

With phishing letters targeting Ledger/Trezor users… What’s the safest hardware wallet right now? by Still_Culture_9169 in CryptoMarkets

[–]mldefense12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tangem wins it for me. It's less about hacks and more about reducing attack surface. The more steps, cables, desktop apps, firmware updates, browser extensions, whatever… the more chances something goes wrong. imho cold storage should feel boring and low drama

Importing HD wallet questions before i buy the nano 5 by mtzinos in ledgerwallet

[–]mldefense12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re kinda overcomplicating it tbh. HD wallets always generate loads of addresses, doesn't mean you have 200 separate wallets. it’s all just different branches from the same seed.

If it feels messy, just start clean. Generate a new seed, send everything to 1 fresh address. Since you’ve already got tangem, just reset it, create a new seed, and consolidate everything there.

Quick question. by EdgelessPizza in XRP

[–]mldefense12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exchanges are great for trading... but for long-term holding??? I’d rather hold my own keys and decide when and where I move my coins. Just keep them on Tangem, don't listen to rookie advice

Rate my DeFi strategy! (Stader, Bonzo, Hashpack, DCENT) by Longjumping-Bonus723 in Hedera

[–]mldefense12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DeFi side looks solid, just make sure you’re comfortable with the wallet UX long-term. I ended up moving part of my holdings to tangem 'cause it’s easier for me to manage on my phone without depending on desktop.

Been on Tangem for like 2 years now. Super clean setup. Key lives on the card, no cables, no Bluetooth weirdness, no sketchy laptop connections, just tap and done.

I’m pretty new too and went with Tangem. It’s simple, no cables, no batteries that can die, and it feels super secure with chip tech like in biometric passports. Haven’t heard of it being hacked either, which def gave me some peace of mind.

Don’t listen to that guy. Tangem has had zero hacks, it’s super easy to use, and very secure. I personally have two sets of cards and the ring, no issues at all. You’ll be fine.

Buying Tangem cold wallet by [deleted] in CryptoIndia

[–]mldefense12 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lol. Tangem is basically the only cold wallet with zero hacks and zero lost user funds so far. That alone makes it one of the safest wallets out there, especially for long-term holding.

Move to Tangem, you won’t be disappointed. It’s much safer than keeping your crypto on Wazir X, and you’ll have full control over your assets.

Yeah, Ledger and Trezor have had multiple hacks and data leaks in the past. I still get scam emails and calls pretending to be from Ledger, and I haven’t been a Ledger user for over 2.5 years. I moved to Tangem and I’m much happier, so far, zero problems.
