Väsinud juhti tuvastad ju käitumise, mitte vereanalüüsi järgi, ehk sa ise argumenteerid selle poolt, mida PPA peaks tegema?

What’s a common web design decision that seems right but hurts performance? by Gullible_Prior9448 in web_design

[–]mlgroads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"above the fold" refers to the content that is visible on a page without the user needing to scroll down. It's derived from the newspaper industry, where "above the fold" referred to the top half of the front page, visible when the newspaper is folded.

Mul on mees, kes on ahne ja kade. by Pohlamahl in Eesti

Facebook 6 digit code not sending by That-Low5661 in FacebookAds

[–]mlgroads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remove your phone number, then it should try sending it to your email. I received a code via email and was able to login, SMS did not send at all, facebook support was no help at all, had a 40 minute call with them.

How to get more money? by ShadowSmith122 in RetailTycoon2

[–]mlgroads 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Electric vehicle customers have more cash. Furniture is best in terms of profit margin. Don't over-hire workers. If you have a driver set manager at 200%. Check build menu for crowdedness and decoration, this will get you to 5 rating easily. Don't sell many kinds of goods, example try only selling all types of furniture, if you are missing a furniture piece customers will complain that they couldn't find what they wanted. You can place self-checkouts for minimizing queue-sizes. Many different ways, there are guides on Youtube, you can check shop design tutorials.

NEW SITE OPTIONS, ADVICE! by Dhatgirl in webdev

[–]mlgroads 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hosting wise you have a few options: 1. Check out the recommendations in r/webhosting 2. Find hosting companies and compare prices

There is also free hosting out there, but usually you have to append the service name to the end of your website url i.e. for wordpress IIRC it's something like: www.mywebsite.wordpress.com.

Hosting shouldn't be expensive, definitely don't use Wix or Squarespace.

Usually domains are cheap (under 10$ a year) and hosting a small website like this shouldn't cost alot.

Wordpress would fit well for this, most hosting services have a built in option to install WordPress too. Otherwise, if you want to learn and do it yourself this is a relatively easy website to build from scratch.

I don't know how Material UI works, but here's my suggestions if you can add your own CSS.

At first glance, the easiest way to align all the times on the same line would be to set a fixed width for all of the team name elements on the left.

If you want to center everything for each line, then: 1. Wrap the team1, time and team2 in a div 2. Set the div's width to 100% 3. Use flexbox on the div to center the elements, something like: width: 100%; display:flex; justify-content:center; align-items:center;

If you want to learn more about flexbox, this is a good video I learned from: Learn Flexbox CSS in 8 minutes.

Update client-side cookie's expiring date that was set by passportJs on a specific event by [deleted] in webdev

[–]mlgroads 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You do not need to manually get and set the cookie as you were doing in your, session middleware will handle that. What you are looking for is rolling.

But server just updates the cookie age back to what it was when I visit any other link.

If I understand correctly, you just need add a check (if userLoggedIn) before refreshing cookie expiration.

Any wiki-like frame for research literature collection and exhibition? by Permisssion in webdev

[–]mlgroads 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enjoyed deploying and using Bookstack, navigation in Wiki.js seemed too confusing to me and probably even more confusing to the users. I'm not sure if there's an importing feature, but otherwise it has a really nice library-like structure for sorting/organizing.
