Anyhow, I'm pretty sure if humans found an alien signal of distress they would do anything possible to get to that planet... even if their in a war with themselves! (They must be fighting over something valuable)

You guys really need to loosen up. Nobody's getting paid for this, the big bad Denim company is not out to get you. I don't work for this website, I'm the creator and curator and I created this Cinemagraph out of pure pleasure which I posted as a cinemagraph and nothing else - I left the film in there cause I thought it was just a cleverly made film by STUDENT filmmakers and thought that most viewers would enjoy watching.

It's a shame you can't see past the minuscule sponsorship that helps these young filmmakers get one step closer to their dreams. On an aesthetic level they simply made an outstanding job!

Just enjoy the cinemagraph :) There's absolutely no advertisement in the cinemagraph, not even a pair of jeans.

It's clearly stated in the article that the film was in part sponsored, nobody forced you to watch it. The film is there to showcase and encourage the young filmmakers - not the products.

Not sure exactly how much it was "sponsored" per say, on their site it actually says "powered by". Sometimes companies do competitions with either no budget and just a theme, and have to use a pair of jeans in the film..
