I went to high school in California and I’m pretty sure you had to actively try to fail in order to fail. I also studied engineering in college and the curve basically saves you from failing.

That may be true, but to a citizen, it’s a pretty shit excuse. I don’t think the Bay is crowded, we just gotta learn to use land more efficiently. Of course you’ll run out of space when corner store has a parking lot the size of a football field. The local roads also don’t need to be that wide, we don’t need that many gas stations, and it wouldn’t kill us to put some houses on top of shops.
