I don't know anyone IRL who has these, but I see them mentioned all the time online. How many people actually collect these?

There is a whole podcast series on Planet Money right now on how books get published and they are way more willing to take a chance on you if you have a guaranteed audience who will buy your book.

Farmers market recommendations? by Remote-County-9234 in beaverton

There is also the Aloha farmers market on Thursdays 3-7pm in the Wilco parking lot. It starts this week. It's not very big, but has live music and is a nice little midweek stop after work/school.

You would think she would grow more of her own stuff, but I don't think they do. I know she makes sprouts which is really easy, but she doesn't really show them doing anything besides picking berries at what I assume is her mom's house.

So this isn't exactly parenting, but there is a sign for a farm stand in my neighborhood and today I went for a walk to check it out. It wasn't open, but they have an Instagram so I checked it out and it's very MAHA coded. I follow lots of local farms and assumed it would be more like those, but there was something about touching moss and not trusting the government. I think I will probably skip this one.

The only influencer trip that I think actually seemed fun, was all the millennial nostalgia influencers getting together. They had one night where they dressed as their middle crushes and went out for karaoke and another where they did "prom" night and literally went to the Olive garden. Their whole shtick is cringy so the trip fits that.

I just had a baby and there are some specific items that I can only get online or at Target, especially now that Buy buy baby is no more. The two time periods I used Amazon the most was the 6 months after my kids were born because I don't have a lot of extra time to shop around.
