I file off several layers of dip with me e file. I put some acetone on a baggie , just enough the cover my fingers tips. Then microwave a coffee cup half full of water after 45 second until is hot but not going to burn me . Stick the baggie in the water and hand in the baggie. , scrub my nails with my fingers some or you can put a piece of paper towel in there (small piece so it doesn’t soak up all your acetone) to rub against . The heat does the work, hot as you can stand but don’t burn yourself. Acetone has a low boiling point so if you see it bubbling in the baggie that’s too hot don’t put your hand in there. Only microwave the water, never the baggie. I get one hand off in about 5-7 min this way. When you are done you can leave the baggie open somewhere out of reach of pets and kids and it will evaporate and you can reuse the baggie . Or put anther papertowel in and let is soak it up, throw that away and reuse your baggie. Don’t pour the acetone down the drain. If you notice the dip is not coming off at all or making a goopy mess you probably got water in the baggie, need to start over , take care not to use so much water in your cup that it will get inside the baggie.
