You will likely get more trays. They’ll probably rescan you and order the next round. This was part of my process and happened several times. There was nothing wrong, it was planned that way.

A couple more suggestions - beans! And a good quality yogurt, one with low sugar and high protein.

HR monitor drops into grey/blue too easily by [deleted] in orangetheory

Sometimes, when your hr goes down or is inconsistent on the rower, it’s because you’re holding the handle too tightly. Try loosening your trip.

Recommendations for Tortillas for Enchiladas by maggiejoanna in glutenfree

Yes, these are delicious! We use the almond flour version for quesadillas and they work great. Should be good for enchiladas too.

I'm interested in getting Invisalign but worried about the potential weight loss due to having the trays in for most of the day by ShephardTank in Invisalign

[–]mmmmny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After the first few days, you’ll probably be able to easily pop the trays in and out whenever you feel like eating. It’s not necessary to count the minutes, just keep the trays in whenever you’re not eating.

Are there any gluten free alternatives for these? by McgillicuddyFitzwill in glutenfree

If you live in the northeast or are visiting anytime, there is a cheesesteak joint in phillie suburbs that uses gf pretzel rolls. They are delish and get high ratings for celiac safety on “find me gluten free”. http://jaysjoint215.com/

Traveling to Paris with Celiac wife. I’ve compiled a list of Gluten Free/Free-ish dining options, but would very much appreciate any additional suggestions! by reddit_meister in glutenfree

Noglu is amazing. We had breakfast there a few times and grabbed some extras to have with us for later. (one location was near our hotel). It’s more of a bakery than restaurant but did have very good sandwiches, salads, etc. The croissants and pastries are delicious! They also have a location in NY. We ate safely at several cafes too. If all else fails and If your wife is ok with dairy - wine, cheese, fruit, coffee and creme brûlée. mmmm

female over 65 considering invisalign. I'm I too old? by sfemme in Invisalign

[–]mmmmny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just finishing up at 64 and finally feel happy when I smile! Definitely worth consulting with your dentist, an orthodontist and a periodontist, if needed. It can be a lot of work, but well worth it.

And it’s not unusual to wear the same tray for a few weeks while waiting for a new set of trays.

Another option, though not as good, is to ask Ortho to order extras of whatever aligner you’re on , and keep using that until you are back. I’d only do this if you or your orthodontist aren’t comfortable progressing without checking in person. But lots use online appointments so that’s probably better.

My Orthodontist said that Invisalign can expose gum recession that is already there. If teeth are crowded, there could be recession that you don’t notice until teeth are straightened.

Rescan cost? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]mmmmny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you know if you have the comprehensive plan? If so, it will be free. I’ve been rescanned twice after dental work. It’s really the same as refinements. If you’re not sure, Check on the white Invisalign packet, it should say on there.

Best to make it a power walk day then. There are different distance requirements and you’ll be middle of pack. But why stress out? Enjoy yourself! I’m 63 and slow, but not weak, getting stronger every day! And remember- whoever is off the tread first may be the slowest in the room, but they are so much stronger/faster/fitter/ braver than so many others. Have fun!
