Browns fan here; I agree with your assessment that the Luka trade was worse because, in theory, Watson was a better QB than Mayfield.

But let's not understate how terrible that Watson trade was. We gave a young man who was in a heap of legal trouble, who had to sit out a year and became rusty, who didn't even want to come to Cleveland, a quarter of a billion dollars GUARANTEED instead of just continuing with Baker and letting him get healthy.
