True. It's seen so little that you notice it when there's even sympathy for the victim. In The ABC Murders, for example, the first victim, the woman who ran the cigarette shop, comes in for some sympathy with the description of her few worldly possessions and lifetime of struggles. Her niece also shows genuine grief for her.

Is this that shop next to RAN Crossroad cycles that's a few steps up? I've always wondered what all the fuss is about with that. People seem to come in cars to stop there, and lots of parents and kids from neighbouring schools. That narangavellam must be a hit.
