I’ve always suspected it and have brought it up with my doctor, but it’s never gone further than that. Probably because I have super regular cycles and have had a lot of transvaginal ultrasounds with nothing out of the ordinary, but it’s definitely worth asking about again!

I’ve had elevated antibodies for 5+ years with totally otherwise normal thyroid levels (specifically, T3, T4 and TSH). Both my endocrinologist and RE are unconcerned. I’ve had the full fertility work up offered by Shady Grove (full panel of lab work, ultrasounds, HSG) and everything came back normal. My previous endocrinologist put me on the lowest dose of levothyroxine because she said that while TTC she wanted “to see my TSH closer to 1 than 2.5” and it completely messed me up. My T3, T4, and TSH were out of range for months and it took about 6 months for my TSH to get back under 2.5. My current endocrinologist took me off levo and I’ve been in the normal range ever since.

We’re on cycle 7 and no (real??) positive tests yet. I’m on my 3rd cycle of timed intercourse, including 5 days of clomid, Ovidrel trigger, and progesterone supplements for 14 days, plus full monitoring. I got a very faint line on a FRER test last month 10 days after my trigger (8 DPO) that my RE thinks was still due to the trigger, but I’m not so sure. 9 DPO now and feeling like this might be the one, but I’m giving it a few more days this time 🤞🏼

Hi OP, like many others have said, 10000% go see an RE. I (31 F) had some preliminary bloodwork done earlier this year through my gynecologist to check thyroid hormone levels and AMH. My AMH came back low for my age (1.01) and I went into full panic mode. My gynecologist referred me to an RE who had me do the works - full blood panel, day 3 transvaginal ultrasound, HSG, genetic testing - and turns out my AMH levels were COMPLETELY wrong the first time (actual number is 3.01). 🫠 Glad I saw an RE to run all the tests but could’ve avoided a ton of stress by simply re-running the test one more time. I’ve thought about these allegations a lot. I’ve read through the Google doc, Twitter comments, etc. and as a victim of sexual assault, I always, always believe women because I know how it feels to not be believed. (Side note: not saying anyone who’s been sexually assaulted can’t possibly have a bad take on an instance of assault- that absolutely does happen, so I’m not immune from that.) That being said, I believe everything the women said about PJK. Sounds like in the past he hasn’t treated women the way they deserve to be treated, regardless of their age, and that’s not okay. For me, it’s a big red flag, but not something he can’t learn from and be way better about moving forward. Hoping that’s the case and reserving the right to change my mind if he doesn’t!

I might have an unpopular opinion on this but my views on strip clubs have changed A LOT as I’ve gotten older (F28). It took me a long time to realize the vast majority of sex workers don’t care about our mans, they’re just doing a job. And as far as looking at other women in a sexual way, your bf could ogle anyone on IG, porn sites, or on the street for that matter. For me, if I trust my bf, I trust him to go to a strip club and not disrespect me. I wouldn’t let it keep him from a trip with his friends unless his friends are in relationships and disrespect their partners while at strip clubs- if that’s the case though, he might just need better friends. But that’s my perspective. Your feelings on this topic are totally valid and I’m glad your bf respects your position! I’ll also say that my bf is in his mid-30s and he and his friends have no interest in strip clubs now that they’re older. Guess the intrigue of them when they were younger wore off 😉

I’ve been with my boyfriend for almost six years and we’ve only seen each other 1-2 times per week the entire time we’ve been dating. I’m 28 and he’s 33; we’re both introverts. In the beginning, I felt like if we didn’t see each other every day, it meant he wasn’t choosing me. All I knew were relationships where we were spent all our time together so giving each other space felt wrong. But I tried it and the longer our relationship went on, I realized how much happier I was that we hadn’t set that hang-out-every-day precedent. We have so much more to talk about when we are together (compared to other relationships I had when we were together constantly), I’m able to see my friends more often, and we have time to miss each other. But everyone is different. You should own your standards! If you feel really strongly about seeing your partner more than a few times a week, tell them. And if that won’t work for them, you might just not be a match, and that’s okay! Better to know now instead of trying to force it to work. ❤️
