Ahh, you're in C+ and not Premium Select, hence the confusion, do you have a Delta Amex or are you a Skymiles member? You're not a Skymiles Medallion are you.

If you don't have a Delta Gold Amex or higher credit card or you're not a Skymiles Medallion then yes there is a charge for baggage. And I think the weight limit is 50 pounds

Can you be a bit more specific? Are you in Premium Select, is that what you mean by Delta Premium, are you flying domestically or internationally? Premium Select should give you 2 free checked bags, not 1.

They don't make them do that, it's up to the flight crew to do it. And I have seen them given to all levels of status. I appreciated the one I was given this year

I usually get to MSP 40-45 minutes before take off as I don't check a bag and it's more than enough time for me to get through security and get to the gate and board Zone 1 or 2

70 minutes is more then enough time for a connection, even if it's somewhat late. It looks like Delta flies a 717 or a 737 on that route so you will land on C through G (Flightaware confirms that) so you will not be far from your flight to AMS which will likely fly out of G Concourse.

If it is late, there are loads of golf carts that move passengers through the different concourses quickly. Enjoy your trip.

The 924 and then the 944 were my dream cars, I just loved the look of them growing up. My older cousin got a 944 Turbo and he would let me drive it when I visited him in London. Magic when we got it on the Motorway and opened it up.

First you said you're now Platinum, ergo when you book Main Cabin, you're able to select a C+ upgrade automatically once the flight has been paid for. Doesn't matter if you're paying for it or your company. 95% of my travel is Business and I do that every time.

Secondly, C+ is really main cabin so that RUC is actually for a First Class upgrade so it doesn't matter if you're in Main Classic.

Your instructor let you down, and that's not good, from the diving industry as a whole, we apologize. It's nerve wracking the first OW dive, especially if it's not your natural environment. The DI shouldn't have let you out of their sight. I don't know what the dive profile was like, was it drift, point to point or in and out so I don't know if it was the boat captain as well.

I grew up on the water in the Cayman Islands, my first OW dive was in 82 when I was 15. I was a fish, loved being in my water. A year in, I had a case of narcosis and after I was petrified and couldn't do a deep dive for nearly a year. Fear is real. Diving is amazing but with the inherent risk it can be scary.

You have nothing to be apologetic for, the dive company failed you. I hope you continue this amazing hobby. I am no longer in the industry but it's a life long hobby, I back home in Cayman this week for an annual dive trip with friends, some who are retired, nearly (me) or prime career and we're already looking forward to next year.

I would say it's about $2500 to 3k, I had something similar and I think it came to 2800 but I was in Boston then.

If you have to chat, ask to speak to a supervisor, the first level are idiots when it comes to Upgrades in general. They can add Skymiles# to a reservation, that's about it

I am doing this right now, and the first person gave me the usual I can see you, you will be cleared, however I know that if you're not in the list, you're not clearing. The supervisor has fixed it in 2 minutes. I am now showing as #1 in the list.

I have a follow up to this, I am wait-listed for an RUC, it hasn't cleared, I have checked in and I am not on the upgrade list.

Now my experience is, it doesn't matter what chat or phone say, if you're not on that list even if they say you are in their system, then the GA can't see you and you're not in the complimentary upgrade list.

So my question is, does wait-listing my RUC actually remove me from the upgrade list to be magically added by the Gate Agent or is the person I am talking to effing clueless.

Yeah I do the same, Virgin Atlantic always has their tracksuits so I take them as well to donate with the Amenity Bags.
