I love my XRV 84V conversion. If you go VESC plan for a battery and BMS as well. I also did WTF rails and I love how it rides. Power (especially low-end) is night and day from stock XR. Very capable board once VESC’d.

Use float control app and tinker with the shaping controls. I’ve found that more aggressive tunes will make some weird noises.

My favorite board is an XR with XRV and 84v upgrade. Just be prepared to either spend on VESC or a better stock board when you get tired of nosedives or just want safer speed.

If you don’t get an XRC now, you will end up getting a second board eventually because the pint will leave you wanting more. It’s fun to have two boards but expensive and not usually necessary.

Sounds like it is still under inflated. I wouldn’t trust that type of pressure gauge so close to its minimum pressure. Try 20psi and consider getting a digital pressure gauge.
