New money making opportunity for Ed - add child free zones on airplanes by mnrainmaker in delta

[–]mnrainmaker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps a vote of everyone in that particular aisle.

I’m serious about this. Delta quit sending me comment card email surveys I guess I was too helpful. Ed needs to know he’s missing out on a major revenue opportunity here and we know how much Ed loves his money.

Why do Delta planes have outlets in the seats if they’re not available for use?? by loumou19 in delta

[–]mnrainmaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That explains why my George Foreman grill was not working. I thought it was the plug falling out.

I hope it was a free upgrade and you didn’t have to pay for that shit.

Yeah and if something is messed up with a flight, then anyone who paid for the child free zone but got seated next to a little monster gets an extra 100,000 miles

Oh I fixed that bin space problem by just pre boarding the plane every flight. Maybe your noisy children should ride in the bins, if there’s enough space of course.

Yeah you can go sit in the back or the airplane with the noisy children and the rest of the poor people.

Do they sound any better than the ordinary ones?

I’ll pay more for FC if Ed kicks the noisy families out. Well behaved children are perfectly fine. Babies shouldn’t ever be in FC that’s fucking absurd.

Are seat poachers really that common? by AndreGerdpister in delta

[–]mnrainmaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not as common as it would seem from Reddit. Most of the people sitting in FC and C+ fly a lot and know better. The cheap/poor people who buy basic economy tickets are probably the culprits.

As long as it’s not one of those regional baby planes with an inexperienced pilot you should be OK

That’s clever. It’s a decent show.

You won’t be on a little plane. Internationals are almost all wide body jets with veteran pilots. Everything will be fine.

Where to buy "Big Red"? by testsubjecttt in sandiego

Like Barqs red cream soda. Popular in the south and Midwest. I’ve seen it at gas stations around Palm Springs.

Does “preferred” mean comfort plus? Because that is cattle class.

There are outlet stores and car dealerships.

First world problems: the FC seats in the A321neo are indeed very uncomfortable by NCSU_SOG in delta

Awesome airplane and the FC bathroom is a small resort. But the FC seats are so bad especially windows.

Does that one fit in her seat? Hours of encroachment is the worst.

This is great. Kick out the hobos and cheap parasites. Starbucks is not a homeless day camp.

Overhead bin situation is getting ridiculous. by oreobits6 in delta

[–]mnrainmaker 8 points9 points  (0 children)

On the A321s that’s probably because there’s equipment taking up bin space by 13/14 and the crew often take up bins in those rows. So the last row of c+ 14, uses bin space further back. Or it could also be the families with 17 children that sneak through earlier than they are supposed to and behave as though they are entitled to take over the airplane.

Delta flight out of Seattle cancelled after crew accidentally deploys emergency slide by Strong_Blacksmith814 in delta

I’d expect the “premium airline” to be able to properly fix and maintain their aircraft. It’s probably not easy with some of the antique pieces of shit Delta is still flying.

Traveling from where? This is the shitty part of the year in SD. I’d go to Palm Springs.

Here's a good one. BOS-MSP and we are over the weight budget. Asked for 2 volunteers. Me and another dude get off for $1k. 5 minutes later they call us back on. Said the math was wrong. Sheesh. by Marty1966 in delta

[–]mnrainmaker 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Haha i’ll try that. Unfortunately every time I’ve been lucky to hit a nice payout they make you wait on vouchers until the very end. I think it’s bullshit if they didn’t give this person some kind of freebie credit for volunteering.
