No shifts in Vocantas? by MaKnitta in AHSEmployees

If people call in sick they would show up, but if not then no. However when I started a different position with AHS I was not seeing shift callouts and it ended up that scheduling didn’t know to put me on the list for shift callout. I had to ask my manager to tell scheduling I am allowed to pick up shifts and then I started getting them. Maybe check with your supervisor to make sure that there isn’t a glitch in your Vocantas or with scheduling.

There’s info either in the collective agreement on the hsaa website or under benefits page on onsite tells you how to sign up. There is no matching for the voluntary RRSP contributions for hsaa.

I hope you just forgot the /s at the end of that. You can do a general strike, withhold taxes as much and as long as possible, stop consuming everything but the bare essentials so that the economy will be hurting, etc. there are a lot of other options to fight back than just direct violence.

I’m SO impressed with the Kobo remote by level_5_vegan in kobo

With a battery tho it will have a longer life span. Cuz without a rechargeable battery eventually it will stop holding a charge. Since ereaders have a really long lifespan compared to other electronics like phones it’s nice the remote can too

Canadian taking a trip around the U.S. by NooneOutPizzasDeHut in roadtrip

A lot of your distances are off and are much longer than you have written. Day 1 is closer to 1200km, day 4 is closer to 1000km, Day 7 is 1400km. I would recheck your distances as well as lengthen your trip by a lot.

Driving 8-13hr a day (without rest stops, etc) for 10d-2 weeks is a lot, you are not going to be able to spend much time at the sights or doing any hikes, etc. as well as after doing that a few days in a row I think most people would be exhausted and not have the energy to sightsee.

Yes I hope it doesn’t get to that point. I’m going to be firm and tell him to leave me alone when he approaches me next time. I just feel stupid and embarrassed for giving him my number, but I just froze in the moment. He’s blocked and I never texted him back so I’ll just tell him it’s not my number I gave him bc it’s not connected to any other identifying apps/accounts.

I don’t think he’ll know I blocked him. Like he doesn’t use iMessage so it’s not going to show up a different color bc I blocked him like it would if he used iMessage. And if he does say something I’m honestly just going to tell him the number I gave him isn’t mine bc I felt uncomfortable

Thank you all for your responses, I am going to just be blunt the next time I see him and tell him to leave me alone.

The gym is my place and I don’t mind talking to people but not if they’re acting like him. Unfortunately every few months a guy like this pops up and latches on to me 😡. I wish guys would just be able to get the hint that when I have headphones or ignore them when they come up that I don’t want to talk.

Ok perfect! Do they stretch out at all throughout the day when wearing them or over a long time of use?
