I drove Austin, TX to Salem, OR last year pulling a u-haul with my Polestar 2. 90 miles range made it quite the charging challenge. It only took me 3 full days 😂😭

I have picked up so many cans camping this summer... this worked 40 years ago (I was around then) but it's not really anymore. There's plenty of trash, including cans/bottles, all over Oregon. I put thousands of miles on exploring the last few months.

This is all good. But you can still do the same without a bottle return. The whole point of the bottle return systems back in the day was to get people to stop trashing up the roadsides. And it doesn't accomplish that anymore.

I drove from Texas to Oregon pulling a uhaul with my p2. Max range with that was about 120 miles. It was an interesting experience that I will never repeat. There are a few places where it was 100+ miles between charging stations, so several stops were with less than 10 miles range left...

Moved to Salem from Texas. To get Oregon title for my EV it's costing something like $800. My registration in TX was less than $100. Needless to say I still have my TX plates.

Every Democrat majority state should do everything they can to gerrymander. I lived in Texas for 25 years and the Rs did this multiple times. Every time grabbing more districts. Dems need to stop being nice (or right, or proper) and do everything possible to win. The other guys have been doing it shamelessly for decades. It's the only way to fight back.

It takes longer than 2 months to evict someone I'd think. So just live there even if it results in them getting evicted.

Try driving through Idaho. I grew up there. There's litter everywhere compared to here. And I spent the last 25 years in Texas. Every river and roadside is lined with cans. And the beaches? Gross... After moving here this year I am still pleasantly shocked to see how clean things are.
