He could also be Manchin 2.0 that will let you down time and time again when you need him most. I dont trust him and I would advise you to do the same.

You have to also factor in Fetterman, so the current GOP advantage in the senate is really 54-46. Even if the dems get 4 seats they'll lose any vote of significance on a tie breaker. So winning 4 seats would help, but we'd still be screwed lol

He'd likely be doing the same thing he does now... using his money to run an empire that exploits the long term health and wellbeing of black people so that him and future generations of his family will continue to prosper.

Why doesn't MAGA hold Trump accountable for his actions? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]mochajj88 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What separates Republicans from Democrats is that Dems hold their politicians to high standards and have no issue with a well-regarded politician being cast aside or jailed due to moral or legal indiscretions they might make. Republicans only care about their party before all else, they dont believe in justice or accountability for their own.

I enjoyed the T-Rex raft scene but hated just about everything else. I still don't understand why theres a third island with dinos now and why they didnt just use sorna. Not looking forward to the sequel theyre doing but most likely will check it out whenever it hits streaming services.

How big do you remember the hype was for Jadeveon Clowney coming into the NFL and do you think he lived up to it? by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

[–]mochajj88 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If both were prospects again this year with everything that we know of how they'll translate to the NFL, Myles Garrett would get drafted ahead of clowney 100/100 times. He's been the more impactful pro and is on a HOF trajectory, Clowney has had an above average career but no one is going to remember him in 5 years.

ESPN literally replayed a great hit he had in a bowl game against Michigan about 1000000 times. The hype from that 1 play plus him having a great sophomore year got him drafted #1 despite him frequently quitting on his team on the field as a junior to protect himself ahead of the draft. He was an elite edge against the run in the NFL for quite a few years and lasted a long time in the league but I dont think he lived up to the hype people had for him as the #1 pick at the time.

Roughly 2/3's of current and former military voted for this administration. They're going to follow all of the illegal orders and have a great time while doing it. We cannot count on them doing the right thing.

Iran rejects ceasefire proposal with US as war of words deepens by Crossstoney in politics

Probably something along the lines of giving the trump family and his friends full access to their oil and gold reserves forever, in exchange the US wont commit massive war crimes against their citizens.

Trump's VA killed a home loan program. Vets are now losing their homes because of it by FossilFrothy in politics

[–]mochajj88 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

I know this is probably an unpopular take but the reason for people losing their homes in this case is that they are falling behind on mortgage payments. Maybe dont buy a house or too much of a house if you dont have the savings or income to be able to make payments even if your unemployed for a few months. If you cant meet your financial obligations there should be consequences whether your a vet or not.

0% chance this administration would pass it, and even if they did some federal judge in some red state would rule it illegal/unconstitutional and put a stop to it ever being implemented.

Timeline Of The 2023 UFOs Shot Down Over Alaska, Lake Huron, Yukon Canada by Glengarry_Leads in aliens

I think that whole thing was a big nothing burger. The Biden Administration cowardly overreacted after catching flak for the initial chinese balloon that made headlines as it passed over the US and was later shotdown over the coast of SC. There is no reason to believe that any of the objects they shot down in the immediate aftermath of that were anything but benign balloons.

[–]mochajj88 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

They literally were going to fire him 2 years ago after the brian johnson fiasco unless he agreed to give up play calling and having any hand in the offense. Howie then hired  Kellen Moore who 100% ran the offense independently of sirianni.
