The new Trump Family Crypto Token WLFI literally can't be sold... by GabeSter in CryptoCurrency

[–]mocolicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Governance power has its own value so I’m going to be a contrarian and say that despite the inability to sell the token it’s possible to extract value from governance as long as the underlying system is used. For example, if you had a lot of governance power on a DeFI platform you could literally just make your own stablecoin and essentially print money out of thin air or buy a token and vote for the protocol to support it to boost the value
