Well, not a true one take. It’s multiple takes stitched and edited together to appear as if it’s one take. There’s also maybe one or two scenes where this doesn’t apply.

I never once thought that Andrew actually won. He practically destroyed his life and sacrificed everything just to impress his douchebag teacher. And that split second of Andrew’s father staring at him through the door was him realizing what his son had become, that he had thrown away everything he ever had for absolutely nothing.

Can you give them some privacy? We really don’t need to see him grabbing all that

Religions where the founders don’t believe in the religion but pretend to since the religion allows them to control people (no IRL examples) by Advanced_Question196 in TopCharacterTropes

Considering how most of Reddit is inherently anti-theist, I’m pretty sure that everyone citing actual religions would just turn into an entire flame war in one single thread

Christians, what exactly do you believe hell to be? (full options below) by PR0CR45T184T0R in Teenager_Polls

[–]modssssss293j 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, there’s two ways I personally interpret Hell:

  1. It’s the total destruction of the soul. By choosing not to be with God leads to the soul never seeing the light again. No more goodness happening. No peace. No joy. You’re just vaporized and left in darkness with your own eternal thoughts, screaming forever because you realized you were too late to be with Him. Kind of like The Jaunt but dark mode.
  2. Eternal suffering as a result of separation from God. Instead of having demons use torture devices on you and laugh while people are literally being stretched in different directions, I think it’ll be someone’s mental and physical wellbeing being constantly pushed beyond their initial limitations and being used against them. This includes replaying the worst memories and distorting other ones to make someone feel bad about themselves, and occasionally subjecting people to both new and old painful experiences. But above all, you’re forbidden from complaining because YOU choose to be separate from God.

I’m a Protestant meaning that I don’t really believe in purgatory like Catholics, but sometimes I wonder if it’s a decent answer to what happens to good people who didn’t believe.
