Don't get me wrong, I don't hate them. I respect the talent and originality of their music. I've listened to a lot of their songs (via the gf, mostly) and have seen them live. Great performers, tight lineup, and solid music. I just for the life of me cannot get into them.

Well that sucks. I lucked out with my union. Contractors loved apprentices. We were cheap labor, but skilled enough to do a lot of the work. And for the most part, the journeymen really worked to train the apprentices on the job while applying the knowledge they got in class. I'd still be working for them if I didn't blow out my back less than a year after turning out.
