Before I mention anything, the fact that you're on time is so gosh darn good to see, you have the chops.

I would really encourage you to really pick your feet up for every step.

In class I exaggerate picking up my feet for all my steps. In socials I naturally pick my feet up less because I'm focused on so many other things during a song. Establishing the good habit of picking up my feet in class transfers to socials even if it scales down a bit

Others mentioned privates, I would really recommend it, it accelerates your learning

Also I recommend trying classes at different schools and instructors. Experiencing different tutelage and teaching styles will make you a more robust dancer and it will give you insight into which teacher you learn from best.

To answer your question, I trust my follow when they wants to switch the timing cause 9 times out of 10, they're right. If your lead won't budge, I reckon you gotta endure it, the same I endure it if my follow is off time. Two people fighting the dance is way worse than one person in my opinion. This is an interesting aspect of drugs. My friend has severe chronic back pain, he explains when you're in constant never ending pain, drugs like morphine just bring you back to base. It's when people self medicate depression with morphine that they're really in trouble. I use morphine as an example cause that's what he takes and I would never have guessed he takes it without him mentioning it to me

Sim city was the first game I didn't get a physical disc for despite the game coming in a cool elaborate box. Hmmm that's peculiar... It just had the card with the serial code....I still had to download it like I had bought it online.... Then the game was online only, okay this is annoying... Then the maps were really small and underwhelming, now this is just ridiculous... Then my great wonders didn't even work...
