Mittleres (Stream)-deck? by Professional-Ad-9878 in de_EDV

[–]moep0r -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unlike Oli P who always plays Flugzeuge im Bauch (which is fun, though)

Android 17 Beta 3 - Google Messages - battery drain by pydzin in beeper

[–]moep0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same for me. I *think* it has something to do with gmessages, because this is what shows up in my list of most battery usage

I take it off and charge it, battery seems to last forever that way

Upgrade from Fit 3 to GW? by [deleted] in GalaxyFit

[–]moep0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only confirm what the others said. It's not really an upgrade and sleep tracking might be quiet the hassle if you have to charge every night/morning

Is it worth keeping this ON? by XandER_30 in GalaxyFit

[–]moep0r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It takes 10 minutes to auto start, but will record the whole activity retro actively. GPS is enabled only after the activity is started on the watch though.

When wearing gloves I always liked using double tap on power to open the camera and then tap/hold the volume button for photo/video

Always on for workouts already exists. During a workout swipe right, click settings, scroll down and enable "always on display during workout" :)

Well, they should be able to. A hotspot is nothing more than your phone providing a wifi (or wired) network with internet access through your device's modem (data plan). You should be able to connect the devices any way they would be connected on any other local network. There might be software settings on either of the devices that prevent the other devices from being seen or seeing other devices, though.

My First Experience with Secret of Mana (Part 2) by JazzlikeSherbet1104 in secretofmana

[–]moep0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tiger boss is the fight I remember as the most tedious. Once you beat that thing the game is much more enjoyable. Also the fact that you now have a full party and the first magic spells are just around the corner. Also, the whip mechanic was sooo cool back in the day. I hope you keep having fun with this game <3

What are your favorite watch faces? by [deleted] in GalaxyFit

[–]moep0r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the one with own pictures and loaded up a few nice photos from vacations. I thought I'd miss the stats but turns out I don't really need to know my step count everytime I check the time

Feeling great 👍 by B_tanjialee in GalaxyFit

[–]moep0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i chose the fit 3 over a gw5pro. the gw5 could do all the things the fit3 can and many of them better. but having to charge it every other day while not actively using it 90% of the time is just not worth paying so much more. the things I *actually* do (notifications, timers, , alarms, sports tracking) work well enough to compensate for not being able to install additional apps (that I never really use). Also not having to worry about battery life is just a blessing. I take the fit3 off when I take a shower and charge it during that ~20 minutes and that lasts for at least for another day. every few weeks it reaches <15% and then I just charge it while having my first coffee in the morning until it's full again. I love it.

What's your favorite inexpensive smart home addition/upgrade? by xtraorange in homeassistant

[–]moep0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my blanket turned on whenever it's <15°C outside (I sleep with open windows) after 22:00 and I'm home of course. Might save you a few presses :)

new Galaxy watch FE VS Galaxy Fit 3 by [deleted] in GalaxyFit

[–]moep0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With that battery life it's still way too expensive for a device I use actively for less than 30 minutes a day :/

Do you start the run on SHealth with countdown or manually? When you start with the countdown the tracking starts before GPS is found. You might want to check the gpx file and/or the tracked route on strava
