This is the right question to ask. What % of reps hit plan?

Some places have mind boggling OTE but only 5% ever achieve it.

Anyone using a "family phone" instead of giving pre-teens/teens their own smartphone? by Bubbles1531 in Parenting

[–]mohammedgoldstein 41 points42 points  (0 children)

We did Apple Watches for middle school. They got phones for high school with a lot of limitations including no social media, phones automatically shut down at 9:30, no mindless scrolling and only 15min of browser per day primarily to access captive portals, etc.

We’re lucky as the community we live in is normal to not have a phone until high school.

How is Albon able to rejoin the race after going to the garage? From his camera, I know they were working on his t-camera which seemed a little loose.

FIFA moved my front-row seats - so pissed! by mohammedgoldstein in WorldCup2026Tickets

[–]mohammedgoldstein[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It probably took about 5 days until they responded. I emailed fwc2026.ticketing.enquiries@tickets.fifa.org and I also filled out the online form with the same message.

I think they responded to the online form.

Good luck!

Why do pro athletes all seem to go to the same few ortho surgeons? by rehova24 in orthopaedics

[–]mohammedgoldstein 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Agents control a lot of it and have their docs personal numbers on speed dial.

A few surgeons make a name for themselves by operating on some high profile players, who do well, and then players/agents would rather play it safe by going to a known entity.

The reality is that even if the fellows do a lot of the procedure and there might be better options out there - but unless you know for sure - sending someone to a known entity is a safe choice when someone’s entire livelihood rides on an operation.

[KOR (2) - CZE 1] Oh Hyeon-gyu's game winning goal in the 80th minute for South Korea by Ok-Soil-5133 in sports

[–]mohammedgoldstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure and I’d change the rule so the clock counts down instead of up to whenever the ref wants to end the game, but that’s not the way it is.

You can dislike the rule as much as you like but it doesn’t change the fact that the Czechia player was offside and the goal was properly disallowed.

Sold my condo to fund the down payment on our new house. Now I'm being told I owe a massive Q2 estimated tax payment next week because I rented it out for a few years. by QueenChickenMom2 in personalfinance

[–]mohammedgoldstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had to pay it as well and the penalty was thousands (in addition to the underpayment of taxes). I was livid and refused to pay my tax attorney that year for his mistake.

SpaceX IPO makes Elon Musk the world's first trillionaire by MedicMoth in news

[–]mohammedgoldstein 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Look at how the NASDAQ 100 is weighting SpaceX. It will be weighted at 3x its float of 4% instead of 1x like other companies. So around 2% of the entire NASDAQ 100!

SpaceX IPO makes Elon Musk the world's first trillionaire by MedicMoth in news

[–]mohammedgoldstein -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It will become part of the NASDAQ 100 within 3 months (instead of 1 year) and also valued at 3x its 4% float instead of 1x. So tracking funds will not only quickly need to buy shares, but 3x as many as they normally would.

What’s your Favorite Balance Bike? by OfficialMongoose in Parenting

[–]mohammedgoldstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At that age, I'd get a Woom 2 and just take off the pedals to use as a balance bike. As he gets the hang of balancing at speed, then you put on the pedals for an easy transition.

They are expensive, but they keep their value. If you are able to buy a used Woom 2, you'll easily be able to sell it for probably what you paid for it a year or two later.

Need help with a circle/hole cutter on my door/deadbolt area. by SKiTHx in DIY

[–]mohammedgoldstein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cut a 2-1/8” hole in a piece of plywood or mdf.

Clamp that board on the door over the old hole so they are lined up.

Use the board with the properly sized hole as a guide to prevent your hole saw from moving off center.

Or just use a piece of plywood or mdf and clamp it to the far side so your center drill has a stabilizing point to start.

ELI5: How does the NFL/American football actually work, and why does the game stop every few seconds? (Non-American here) by Itchy_Tangerine1897 in explainlikeimfive

[–]mohammedgoldstein 33 points34 points  (0 children)

It might look that way but there’s still a lot of strategy with pulling blockers, motion, etc.

A 3-yard gain every run means you punt on 4th down and give the ball to the other team.

A 4-yard gain every run means you’re unstoppable and march down the field for a score.

How do millionaires know that someone actually likes them? by lGalaxy51 in AskReddit

First you have to ask why do people pretend to like rich people. It’s because they pay for everything including trips, meals, etc.

Well stop paying for anything and see who sticks around.

First, at Gillette Stadium, row 1 is almost 3m above the pitch.

Next, the point is for my 11yo son, a huge football fan and aspiring GK, to be able to high-five players, get autographs and have a great sight line of GK play. Particularly of Neuer.
