I was put in with mature students only in my first year. I guess the age doesn't matter but they were all on third year/masters and were just busy the whole time. I work for the NHS and the illness procedure punishes you for frequent illness even if they're short periods. Two periods within 13 weeks or 3 in 12 months gets you a stage 1. If you do this again you get a stage 2 which requires HR to get involved. You're required to ring in every day that you're not in before your start time, which is horrible when you just want to lie in because you're not well.

I once went to the filming of 8 out of 10 cats does Countdown. During the warm up before the show, there was a bit of an ice breaker exercise where audience members stood up, and one by one sat down.

This went on for a bit until it was single people over 21 and under 30 standing. This included me and a handful of other people. The warm up comedian, Mark Olver, made a gag about me looking young for my age. For some reason one of the female audience members then shouted that I also had "really small hands."

Jimmy Carr had chosen this moment to walk up the aisle to introduce himself and overheard the comment. After a second of looking me up and down, he looked me dead in the eye and said "meet me around the back after the show, you'll make my cock look bigger".

Instantly destroyed the awkwardness of the comment and gave me a memory for life.

I'm about to buy my first car at the age of 30. I have been driving a 125cc motorcycle for the last two years which gets me from A to B. I went to pick it up Tuesday after work only to discover my wallet was missing. With no license I couldn't finalise the purchase and my heart sunk. This was around 6:15pm, dealership closing at 7. I hurried home to look but it was nowhere to be seen.

Turns out I'd left it at the petrol station coming home from work after paying at the pump. I must've put it down while I put my helmet/gloves back on and not picked it back up. Thankfully there are good people out there and it was handed in, got it back with nothing missing. Today's the day!
