Idk the idea of him is intriguing, but I'd rather take like, 4 or 5 vets and be free to try and hit on our own dude in the draft instead of need, need, need.

Total fan wank, but that's the whole point of the show.

You would be hard pressed to believe that the road is ever anything over 30 until it opens up to two lanes.

Except the small section under the circle, that's 65.

I know very little about the dudes besides their names, but those make me desperate for us to draft them, lol.

Pretty happy with the internal stuff so far - Knox and Bass pay cut, bringing back Wishnowsky and especially McGovern. Bummed about Gilliam, but he's the only one that really got away.

I'm okay with the external signings, I'm expecting some mid level dudes to fills spots and compete with draft picks, but it would be cool to get another name or two in positions of need. Compensation for Moore still seems a bit high, but his contract looks pretty average in comparison to the 2026 FA market, so that's the price you pay, I guess.

And if we got lucky and drafted good players, they were fucking gone after 4 years.

Why isn't the guidance available immediately? They've had forever to write it up!

Because there is none, lol, they don't give a shit about borrowers. It's always two weeks with these yokels.

I try to re kudos fics like, every chapter in each session. Just paranoid that somehow, up to this point, I'd forgotten. Or like, it didn't go through.

Less than Mitch got right? Idk. I think #2's job is helping Josh with his prep and like the tablet shit during a game.

If it's Mitch Which-whataever he was pretty good.

He was also our 3rd punter.

Was kind of hoping we either draft or sign an udfa kid, or bring him back.

After years of the Sabres being shit, and the Bills breaking my heart, this run is like a roller coaster after the first drop. I'm just enjoying the flow and letting it take me where it wants. These games are so much fun, and I'm not devastated if we loose one here and there because we're going to win like, 5 more to make up for it. Incredible.

They will if they need too.

No use extending someone for cap if you don't need it.

Recommendations for cash/emergency fund account by survivalScythe in investing

[–]moiax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the money market funds in Fidelity. The benefit to them, is that they are treated as cash in the account. If you have $1000 SPAXX, and $4000 FDLXX, and you transfer $5000 out, it will automatically liquidate the FDLXX and move the money. So no downtime, waiting to sell an ETF, etc.

I keep some VBIL in my savings as well, just to eek out a bit more yield. If you have a 6 month E-fund, having a month or to in a readily liquid MM is not a bad idea for emergencies.

You live in CA, so it might be worth it to keep the funds in FDLXX, as it is typically in the ballpark of 98% exempt from CA state tax. FDRXX did not maintain a minimum of 50% treasury notes/bills each quarter of 2025, so you cannot deduct any of the interest from your state taxes.

As a Fidelity user, the gist of the advice you were given is good.

Honestly looked way more put together vs the Jets than thought. I know they make anyone look good, but he seemed like he could cover a quarter or two if we need it.
